Collin Sather, a freshman receiver at the University of Idaho, passed away on Tuesday morning of stage four kidney cancer.
Samantha LP — who had organized a GoFundMe page to help Sather’s family deal with medical expenses — announced on Tuesday that Sather had “passed peacefully.”
Idaho coach Paul Petrino released a statement on Sather’s passing.
“Collin was a tremendous young man and a great teammate,” said head coach Paul Petrino in a news release. “It is a testament to him to see how many of our players cared so deeply about him and how many lives he touched in the Vandal Family in such a short time." https://t.co/oIjNhvYKC1
