North Carolina’s Luke Maye is already an NCAA Tournament hero after sinking the game-winning shot in his Elite Eight game against Kentucky. His legend only grew Monday morning when he showed up to his 8 am Business 101 class.
Not surprisingly, he received a standing ovation.
Here’s a video of Maye being welcomed to class early on Monday morning, courtesy of Jack Sewell on Twitter.

This is just tremendous. And it’s the definition of a student-athlete — something every young player in any collegiate sport should attain to emulate.
We salute you, Luke Maye, for making your college education just as much of a priority as your basketball career. And we bet your parents are beaming with pride.
