After a heated verbal spat ensued with former UFC women’s strawweight champion, Joana Jędrzejczyk, last Saturday at UFC 323, Jamahal Hill still has questions.

Hill was present, along with his younger brother, for the fight card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The former UFC light heavyweight champion greeted several fighters at the VIP lounge, including Diego Lopes, Andre Fili, and Jędrzejczyk. However, Hill was caught off guard when his interaction with Jędrzejczyk turned hostile.

“‘Oh hey what’s up, your girl is not here?'” Hill claimed Jędrzejczyk responded. “‘You’re Mr. big time, you like talking s**t. I’m from Poland, m***********r. I’ll f**k you up, I’m not scared. I should’ve smashed your girl’s head in. Go over and smash your head in too. I don’t give a f**k.'”

“I’m like ‘if you would’ve touched my girl, I would’ve knocked you the f**k out. And if you touch my girl, I’m going to knock you the f**k out.” Hill said he retaliated.

Although they weren’t complete strangers to one another. “Sweet Dreams” revealed they met a few years ago in New York, where they “had drinks” and Hill tried to “shoot his shot.” The native of Chicago, Illinois, also showed some direct messages with Jędrzejczyk, whom appeared to show mutual interest.

“It wasn’t really clicking, or going nowhere,” said Hill. “So it was what it was. I’m like ‘cool.’ I took my ball and I went home. I’m not making shots today. The shots not going in today.”

Even after that moment, Hill emphasized that there was “no bad blood” between them. But an “embarrassing” interaction between Jędrzejczyk, and Hill’s current girlfriend, could be to blame.

“She (Jędrzejczyk) completely flipped on me,” said Hill. “I still don’t know why she’s mad. If she can tell anybody why she’s mad, please, truly, let me know.”
