Tyson Fury’s undisputed heavyweight championship bout with Oleksandr Usyk has been rescheduled for May 18 in Saudi Arabia, it was announced by multiple parties on Saturday.

The match, originally set for Feb. 17 in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, was postponed Friday after Fury suffered a cut that required stitches while sparring at his training camp in Saudi Arabia.

“I am absolutely devastated,” the British boxer said in a statement after the injury. “I feel bad for everyone involved in this huge event and I will work diligently towards the rescheduled date once the eye has healed. I can only apologize to everyone affected!”

The 35-year-old WBC champion (34-0-1 with 24 wins by knockout) offered higher spirits on Saturday, taking to Instagram to say in part, “No retirement here, mother****er!”

Usyk, 37, of Ukraine, is 21-0 with 14 KOs and holds the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO belts.
