Two more South Carolina players declare for WNBA draft

South Carolina forward Laeticia Amihere and guard Brea Beal declared for the 2023 WNBA Draft on Tuesday.

Star Gamecocks teammate Aliyah Boston announced her plans to enter the April 10 draft on Saturday.

Amihere, a 6-foot-4 senior, averaged 7.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 36 games off the bench in 2022-23.

She averaged 6.3 points and 4.1 boards in 127 games (four starts) over four seasons in Dawn Staley’s program.

Beal, a 6-foot-1 senior, averaged 6.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 37 starts this season.

She started 137 of her 138 games for South Carolina, averaging 6.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

The Gamecocks had their 42-game winning streak snapped by Iowa in the Final Four in Dallas last Friday night.
