Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Manny Machado is having a hard time running the bases in Game 3 of the NLCS vs. the Milwaukee Brewers.
Machado got away with a questionable slide at second early in the game. Then, as he was attempting to break up a double play, he had another.

Upon review, that slide was illegal and the runner at first, Cody Bellinger, was called out.
Manny Machado violated the Chase Utley rule.

Twitter was highly critical of Machado’s tactics.

Excellent job by the review crew in Chelsea. Manny Machado broke the rule on his slide. He has to make an effort to stay on the base and he didn’t. If they don’t like it, the #Dodgers need to talk to Chase Utley in their own dugout. #Brewers

Manny Machado is out here really proving he’s Chase Utley’s teammate today.

Machado has to learn from this… That won’t be accepted in the Bronx

His base running and sliding technique certainly needs a lot of work.
