Twitter roasts Scott Frost as Nebraska gets destroyed by Michigan

Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

When Nebraska hired Scott Frost away from UCF last year, it did so with the expectation that he’d be able to do for the Cornhuskers what he did for the Knights.

So far, that seems like nothing more than a dream. In reality, Frost’s influence hasn’t had any impact on the team’s ability to compete. Following two frustrating losses to open the season, Nebraska went into Ann Arbor on Saturday and promptly got destroyed by the Wolverines.

Michigan opened up a 20-0 lead in the first 12 minutes of the game, and things continued to spiral in the second quarter. As of this moment, the Wolverines lead the Cornhuskers by the score of 37-0 with five minutes left before halftime.

Twitter users everywhere took aim at Nebraska, and more specifically, Scott Frost, over this dismal showing.

Yeah, it’s not going great for Scott Frost and the Cornhuskers.
