The defending champion Golden State Warriors are now one loss from elimination after choking away Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Rockets in Houston.
Down by one with less than 15 seconds left, two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry missed one of his patented running lay-ups. Golden State then had a chance to tie or win the game after Trevor Ariza made just one of two free throws.
Then, with less than seven seconds left, Draymond Green did this.

Golden State would go on to lose the game in heartbreaking fashion, 98-94. It now needs to win the final two games of the series, starting with Game 6 in Oakland on Saturday evening.
Needless to say, Twitter had some reactions to the NBA’s most-hated team now being one game from elimination.

Ah yes, it is Steph Curry's fault the Warriors lost because he [checks notes] passed to a player with an open lane with five seconds to go?

Imagine if LeBron shot 5/21 and the Cavs still beat the Warriors. That’s right, you can’t.
