Roger Federer appeared to have his match against Kevin Anderson wrapped up near the end of the third set Wednesday at Wimbledon. Until he didn’t.
He had match point for a clean straight-set win but, in a stunning reversal of fortune, ended up losing in five sets, 2-6, 6-7 (5), 7-5, 6-4, 13-11.
It was just an incredible meltdown by one of the game’s all-time greats. And it brought about some pretty big reactions on Twitter as well.
