While basketball is usually king at the University of Kentucky, the football team could be the new kings on campus after the Wildcats’ latest upset win.
It’s already been a magical season for Kentucky’s football team with a 3-0 start, which included snapping its 31-game losing streak to the Florida Gators.
Saturday provided the state of Kentucky with another reason to celebrate after the Wildcats knocked off the No. 14-ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs in a 28-7 final.
After the win, Twitter exploded with reactions to the unbelievable season coming out of Kentucky as the Wildcats rolled on to a 4-0 record.

This wasn't a fluky, all things fell together just right for the win for Kentucky.
That was big boy football against a dominant front & dangerous offense and they just manhandled Mississippi State
As impressive of a win outside of Bama's & Georgia vs SC this season in SEC.

Interesting question: How high will Kentucky be ranked when the new poll comes out tomorrow? If voters base the ranking strictly on what teams have done this season (which they should), Kentucky should be in the Top 10

If Kentucky isn’t ranked tomorrow, it’s fixed. They’re good. But in the end, Bama will eat all of of us and spit out our bones. pic.twitter.com/lr60HD1ex3
