What looked like it would be a fun day for the Cleveland Indians turned into a disaster. And the fans at Progressive Field couldn’t take anymore.
The Indians carried a 2-1 lead into the seventh inning of Game 3 of the ALDS against the Houston Astros. But the Astros scored three in the seventh to take the lead, blew it open in a six-run eighth inning, capped off by a three-run homer by Carlos Correa.
That was about all that many of the Cleveland faithul could take.
Exodus of fans to gates right now in Cleveland and I can't blame them.
It's 89 degrees, probably hotter in the sun, the game is pushing 4 hours long and the Astros are winning big, 10-2 in the 8th. pic.twitter.com/kc5YMTjlo5

Twitter had a lot to say about the fans finding the exits early.
Indians fans now streaming out, walking into another offseason.

It also seemed as though many of them went to the same place.
This place was empty ten minutes ago. Now the unhappy Indians fans are pouring in to drink off this loss. 🍻
