Twitter reacts to horrible non-call in Jets-Broncos game

NFL trades: Could the Jets move on from Sam Darnold?

With his New York Jets trailing 7-0 in the first quarter against the Denver Broncos, it looked like rookie quarterback Sam Darnold was on the verge of tying the game.

On third-and-9 from the Broncos 12-yard line, Darnold seemed to have Jermaine Kearse open in the end zone. At the very least, Broncos safety Darian Stewart appeared to have committed pass interference.

It was a downright terrible non-call.

The very next play saw Jason Myers miss a 30-yard field goal attempt — leading to the Jets coming away empty.

Needless to say, this sent Twitter into a frenzy.
