Twitter reacts to Derrick Henry running wild against the Jaguars

Weren’t the Jacksonville Jaguars expected to have one of the best defenses in the NFL this season? Much like what we’ve seen from the entire team heading into Week 14, that was not the case Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans.

Seemingly uninterested in actually playing football, the Jaguars got whooped early and often in Nashville. That was no more evident than in the performance of Titans running back Derrick Henry.

Henry started the scoring off with a three-yard touchdown early in the first quarter. Then, in the second stanza, the former Heisman winner tied Tony Dorsett’s NFL record with a 99-yard touchdown run.

That wasn’t enough. With his Titans up 16-2 in the third quarter, Henry added this 16-yard touchdown for his third score of the game.

As you can tell, Jalen Ramsey made a business decision at the goal line there.

But that wasn’t even enough. Later in the third quarter, Henry scored on a 54-yard touchdown. Before three quarters had even been completed, Henry went for 219 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 attempts.

Needless to say, the football world went absolutely wild over Henry’s dazzling overall performance.
