Twitter reacts to Chiefs’ epic second half meltdown

It might not be on the same level of the Atlanta Falcons blowing it in last year’s Super Bowl, but it’s darn close.

Up 21-3 at home at half against a lesser Tennessee Titans squad in the AFC Wildcard Playoffs Saturday night, most figured the Chiefs were on their way to a blowout win and a date with either the Steelers or Patriots in the next round.

That’s when the team completely lost its cool, falling to the Titans by the score of 22-21 in what was likely Alex Smith’s final game as a member of the Chiefs.

And it goes without saying that Twitter had some fun with this.

This represents the Chiefs’ sixth consecutive home playoff loss. The last time they came out on top in a postseason game at Arrowhead was back in 1994 when Joe Montana was under center.

Yeah, that’s pretty sad.
