Twitter reacts to Browns’ wild OT win over Ravens

Scott R. Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

In Week 3, the Cleveland Browns won their first game in nearly two years. In Week 5, they won their first game on a Sunday in nearly three years.

For the third time in five weeks, Cleveland went to overtime. After tying and losing in their previous extra frames, the Browns finally pulled a victory out. Greg Joseph’s kick was anything but perfect, but it went through.

Twitter reacted strongly to Cleveland’s victory.

Cleveland’s win came despite some questionable officiating in overtime. On a fourth-and-five, clear contact was ignored when the pass was deemed uncathable.

Twitter had strong feelings about that, as well.

While the no-call is no less egregious now, it will feel much less bitter for the fans in Cleveland, who are now cheering for a 2-2-1 team.

We suppose all’s well that ends well, this week.
