Twitter reacts to Blake Griffin’s 50-point night, and a game-winner against Sixers

Blake Griffin led the Detroit Pistons to an overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, scoring a career-high 50 points in the process.

All told, Griffin scored 50 points on 20-of-35 shooting, including 5-of-10 from beyond the arc, adding 14 rebounds and six assists.

His 50th point was acquired in dramatic fashion as well, as he scored two on a layup and hit the following free throw after being fouled — the game-winning points, as it turned out.

He also was very solid on the defensive end, finishing with one block, and the Pistons needed him down the stretch after Andre Drummond was ejected following a ridiculous flop by Joel Embiid.

Here are some highlights from Griffin’s remarkable evening of work.

Griffin has many career highlights, but this certainly ranks up there among his most impressive personal achievements.

Twitter reacted to it with some solid takes.

Of course, not everyone was excited.
