While his Pittsburgh Steelers took a 7-0 lead into the locker room, the first half of Week 1’s game against the Cleveland Browns did no go well for Ben Roethlisberger.
Pittsburgh’s quarterback was intercepted three times before halftime of the season opener.
#Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger now thrown 3 INTs in the first half of the first game of the season.#Browns top pick, CB Denzel Ward, has 2 of them.https://t.co/5IoGFCULdC

Ben Roethlisberger with arguably the worst interception in the history of the NFL
Step 1. Drop back
Step 2. Close your eyes
Step 3. Throw it as far as you can
Step 4. Whoops https://t.co/UElUduD74R— Big Game Bengal (@BengalYouTube) September 9, 2018
Weird start for Ben Roethlisberger, who's making things happen with his legs but can't stay on the field with a Jacksonville-esque 3 INTs in a half, though at least one was on the receiver. Roethlisberger moving well and throwing w/ authority but PIT should be up at least 2 TDs

Hue Jackson’s bold strategy of throwing away his offense to keep putting the ball in Roethlisberger’s hands is really starting to pay off.

Beyond just his team still leading, there is good news for Big Ben. He set a pretty low bar for the rest of the game and for that matter, the season.
Things can only get better from here.
