Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich was named National League MVP on Thursday. That wasn’t especially surprising. What was surprising was that one of the guests at his watch party was Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Yelich was surrounded by friends, family, teammates, and Mayfield, who’s on his bye week.
Yelich got 29 of 30 first place votes.

The two worked out a lot together in the offseason. Mayfield had even shouted out Yelich in a press conference earlier this season.

Still, many on Twitter were surprised to see Mayfield hanging out with Yelich.
