Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers had a first half he’d like to forget on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
His first pass of the game was intercepted and helped set the Chiefs up with a short field which they used to score a touchdown (watch here).
Rivers’ final pass of the half was also intercepted.

The mistake cost the Chargers at least three, if not seven, points. Twitter blasted Rivers for the mistake.
That is Philip Rivers' 8th interception in his last 4.5 games at Arrowhead Stadium.

Classic Philip Rivers. Great drive … and then an interception in the end zone. Big Rivers fan, yes he’s going to the HOF … but that is his career in a nutshell pic.twitter.com/6L3RfSCztS

Rivers heard footsteps.
Don’t blame him.

Philip Rivers came into tonight's game with just six interceptions on the season. He hadn't thrown one in any of his last 103 attempts. He has two tonight.

Rivers undeniably wants those passes — especially the second one — back.
