New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard dominated early in Sunday’s start against the Milwaukee Brewers. Thor had a no-hitter through the first four innings. He also struck out eight consecutive batters, challenging the mark of 10 set by Hall of Famer and fellow Met, Tom Seaver, in 1970.

Hernan Perez ended both the K streak and the no-no bid with a clean single to lead off the fifth. But Twitter reacted to Syndergaard’s incredible streak, and overall dominance.

We even had fans of the Toronto Blue Jays, lamenting Syndergaard as the one that got away

Ultimately, Syndergaard’s performance was best summed up with one succinct tweet.

You’ll get no arguments from us, or anyone in the Milwaukee lineup.
