Lamar Jackson added another superlative to his legendary college football career Saturday. Joining Tim Tebow and Colin Kaepernick as the only players in FBS history to have 50 touchdowns both running and passing, he continues to amaze.
Though, folks on Twitter who saw this exclusive list were less than kind to Jackson for the company he’s keeping here.
For what it’s worth, this scribe doesn’t hold the same opinion as many of the people downing Jackson for being an amazing runner. Based on the past few years watching him throw the ball as well as any quarterback in college football, I’m hopeful Jackson will be able to take his skills as a quarterback to the next level and succeed.
Some others seem to agree.
The Cincinnati Bengals would be a very intriguing landing spot, provided they also dumped Marvin Lewis and brought in a young, innovative offensive-minded head coach.
