Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber is far from a defensive specialist. In Game 3 of the NLDS against the Washington Nationals, Schwarber’s glove issues reared their ugly head.
Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy sliced a ball down the left field line. The play was a little more than routine, but certainly one that should have been made. However, Schwarber dropped the ball for a two-base error. Making matters worse, he kicked it around, allowing Murphy to get to third on another error.

Naturally, Twitter had a wide variety of reactions to Schwarber’s poor play.

Kyle Schwarber is like a kid out there. I don't mean he's having fun I mean that's really what a little kid would look like playing outfield

Schwarber’s errors extended the inning.
Ryan Zimmerman made them especially costly when he delivered a two-out double to score Murphy, giving Washington a 1-0 lead in Chicago.
