Following a touchdown that pulled Texas Tech to within one touchdown of Oklahoma State Saturday night, Kliff Kingsbury made a gutsy call. Instead of kicking off, he called for a surprise onside kick that caught the Cowboys off guard.
A 15-yard penalty meant the Red Raiders were kicking off at the 50-yard line. They came up with the ball, making Kingsbury’s gambit pay off.

To say this was a ballsy call is a bit of an understatement.
