The Houston Astros got an early jump on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3, knocking Yu Darvish out of the game in the second inning, up 4-0.
It got started off with a bang with first baseman Yuli Gurriel, who blasted a scorching home run into the left field bleachers (watch here).
From there, Josh Reddick smashed a double, Evan Gattis drew a walk, Marwin Gonzalez drove in Reddick with a single, Brian McCann drove in Gattis with a single of his own and Alex Bregman drove in Gonzalez with a sacrifice fly to deep center field.
Then Jose Altuve doubled off the left-field wall, setting up a second-and-third situation with two outs.
That was all she wrote for Darvish. He was sent packing, as Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts was forced to go to Kenta Maeta before the end of the second inning.

Not surprisingly, social media had a lot to say about Houston’s offensive output, and Darvish’s early exit.

serious question: did the Monstars get to Yu Darvish? bc that’s what it looked like

Yep, it turns out, Yu Darvish didn't want any part of this…Dodger will remember this night this winter when Darvish becomes an FA.
