Twitter reacts after Pitt upsets No. 25 Virginia to take ACC Coastal lead

The Virginia Cavaliers were ranked No. 25 by the College Football Playoff selection committee heading into Week 10. It was the first time in program history that Virginia had been ranked by this entity.

Then they were taken behind the woodshed at home by the Pittsburgh Panthers, who were the more physical team on a wet, soggy night in Charlottesville and won 23-13.

Pitt running back Darrin Hall ran roughshod over the Cavaliers, racking up 229 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries to lead the Panthers to victory.

Stunningly, Pitt now leads the ACC Coastal division with just a few games remaining.

Here’s now Twitter reacted to Friday night’s big-time win for Pitt over Virginia.
