Twitter reacts after Kentucky chokes in overtime to TAMU

In a game that saw Texas A&M take the lead on an insane tip-pass touchdown then had the No. 13-ranked Kentucky Wildcats tie it on a fumble return for a touchdown, it all made for an exciting finish on Saturday night.

It was a contest many expected to feature dominant running games that set the tone with the best running back in the nation to be the deciding factor. Instead, it turned into a defensive battle where both teams got a favorable bounce.

The Aggies and Wildcats came to a draw after four quarters, leading to an overtime finish that offered the chance to cap off a wild game.

Kentucky got the ball first and drew up a play to put the ball in Benny Snell Jr.’s hands on third and two. After the Wildcats called a timeout, quarterback Terry Wilson went back under center and took an awful sack that lost eight yards.

It proved to be costly as Miles Butler’s kicked bounced off the crossbar, putting the Aggies in position to win easily.

Texas A&M got the ball back only needing a field goal to win it. Jimbo Fisher called upon Trayveon Williams to win the game and he did just that with a game-winning touchdown to end Kentucky’s undefeated season.

After the bizarre game with an even odder finish, Twitter reacted to seeing Fisher’s Aggies take down the Wildcats in surprising fashion.
