The “Battle of the Bay” against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night has been nothing short of a humilation for the Oakland Raiders. The 49ers, who came into the game 1-7, wiped the floor with with the Raiders, taking a 31-3 lead after three quarters.
Raiders coach Jon Gruden has one fan on Twitter.
Even as the Raiders are hitting bottom courtesy of their cross-bay rivals, I still say Jon Gruden will have the last laugh. It's just going to take a while.

Wonder if Gruden's cellphone is heating up with more players telling him how badly they want to play for him.

They've just quit right? Quit. Flat out. #Raiders

The Raiders saw their front office quit on the season and followed suit.

Nine weeks into his return to coaching, Jon Gruden’s team has quit on him. There’s really no other way to assess it.

Hard to fathom covering a 12-4, woulda-been deep AFC playoff contender Raiders two years ago, and now this. Life comes at you fast.

We can’t imagine things getting much worse in Oakland. But this team has found new lows on a weekly basis throughout the 2018 season. So, stay tuned.
