The Washington Redskins are in a tough spot at running back after losing rookie Derrius Guice to a season-ending torn ACL, along with some other injuiries. As such, desperate times have led to desperate measures and the team just signed 33-year-old running back Adrian Peterson.
Peterson was a stud back in his prime, but he had a disastrous 2017 split campaign playing with the New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals. It remains to be seen just how much gas the veteran has left in the tank.
The Peterson signing has obviously sparked an array of reactions on Twitter.
