Minnesota Twins right-hander Tyler Mahle underwent an MRI exam on Thursday and no structural damage was found in his pitching shoulder.

The Twins said Mahle is day-to-day with soreness and fatigue. He was pulled after 2 1/3 no-hit innings of his Wednesday start against the Kansas City Royals with shoulder fatigue.

Minnesota acquired Mahle from the Cincinnati Reds at the trade deadline. He is 1-0 with a 2.51 ERA in three starts for the Twins.

Mahle, 27, was 5-7 with a 4.40 ERA in 19 starts for the Reds prior to the trade.

Overall, Mahle is 32-38 with a 4.31 ERA in 116 starts and one relief appearance since reaching the majors with Cincinnati in 2017.
