WATCH: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Benoit Paire switched to soccer mid-match at Halle Open

This is amazing. During Tuesday’s Halle Open match between Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Benoit Paire, the two tennis pros spontaneously switched to a game of soccer.

It all started because Paire lost his racket and decided to just kick the ball over the net. That’s all the encouragement Tsonga needed, and suddenly the two were engaged in a foot-to-foot rally.

The crowd ate it up, and who can blame them? Just a tremendous moment of levity during an otherwise competitive situation.

Tsonga won the point, won the soccer match, and went on the win the match in two sets.
