The Portland Trail Blazers announced Thursday that forward Nassir Little returned to “on-court contact activities” but his return to competition is not yet determined.

Little, 22, last played Nov. 29 and has missed six weeks due to a hip fracture known as a mild femoral head impaction fracture.

Little did not require surgery, with the Blazers deeming his rehab program successful.

To start off his fourth NBA season, Little averaged 5.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in 21 games off the bench before his injury. He has career averages of 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.

Portland also said in a news release that Justise Winslow, who suffered a left ankle sprain Dec. 21, is showing signs of improvement in recent reevaluation but will miss at least the next two weeks.

The forward is averaging 6.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game over 29 games (11 starts) this year.
