Veteran left-hander Francisco Liriano has reached a minor league deal with the Toronto Blue Jays with an invite to spring training, the Toronto Sun and Sportsnet reported.
Liriano, 37, will earn $1.5 million if he makes the club, plus performance bonuses, per the reports.
He did not pitch last season after getting released by Philadelphia in July ahead of Opening Day.

Liriano is 112-114 with a 4.15 ERA in 419 appearances (300 starts) in 14 seasons with six clubs, most notably the Minnesota Twins (2005-12) and Pittsburgh Pirates (2013-16, 2019). He last pitched with the Pirates, going 5-3 with a 3.47 ERA in 2019.
He was an All-Star with Minnesota in 2006 and won a World Series with the Houston Astros in 2017.
He previously pitched for the Blue Jays from 2016-17, going 8-7 with a 4.77 ERA in 28 games (26 starts) and striking out 126 batters in 132 innings.
