Top NFL Draft prospect Kenneth Murray details how he saved a woman’s life

Kenneth Murray NFL Draft

Former Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray is in Indianapolis this week taking part in the NFL Scouting Combine.

Teams are intrigued to see what he can bring to the table as a likely first-round pick.

However, the conversation on Thursday quickly turned to an incident earlier this year in which Murray and his girlfriend were returning from church.

Murray saw an accident in front of him while driving back home. As he details, a woman was laid out on the street bleeding from the head and unconscious.

That’s when the linebacker decided to go full hero without even wearing as much as a cape. He immediately started CPR on the unnamed woman, reviving her in the process.

The story itself is something else.

What makes this even more interesting is the sense of altruism Murray displayed. He did not want this to be made public and left the scene as paramedics arrived.

A couple days later, someone within the Oklahoma football program approached him and said a kid with the school newspaper saw Murray giving the lady CPR. That’s how it become public record.

Just an amazing story from what seems to be a great young man in Murray. Whoever lands him in April is going to be lucky.
