New Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has won nine conference titles, six Super Bowl rings and boasts the second-most passing yards in NFL history.

By any definition of the term, Brady has to be seen as an all-time great quarterback. Even at the advanced age of 43 and after moving on from the Patriots after two decades in New England, Brady still appears to have it.

Buccaneers GM says Tom Brady’s arm stronger than last season with the Patriots

That has to be a scary quote for Brady’s rivals in the NFC South this coming season, Tampa Bay’s Week 1 opponent in that of the New Orleans Saints included.

To be clear, the future Hall of Famer threw just 24 touchdowns last season. This represented his lowest total since all the way back in 2006. Brady also didn’t have the same supporting cast that the quarterback will see take the field with him come Sunday.

Buccaneers’ skill-position group is top notch

Not only are these Bucs returning the best receiver tandem in the NFL in that of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, it added even more talent at the skill positions.

Star tight end Rob Gronkowski came out of returement after a one-year hiatus. Obviously, him and Brady have a great relationship dating back to their time together in New England.

Meanwhile, Tampa Bay shocked the masses by adding former Jacksonville Jaguars star running back Leonard Fournette to the mix earlier this month.

Bucs general manager Jason Licht believes Brady’s arm is much stronger than last season. With the weapons the quarterback has to work with this season, it would not be a shock if he put up some astronomical numbers under Bruce Arians.
