Tom Brady on free agency: ‘Nobody knows anything’

Tom Brady free agency

We continue to hear rumors about where New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will land once free agency starts on March 18. The latest suggestion is that the Tennessee Titans are a realistic option. Prior to that, the Las Vegas Raiders were seen as odds-on favorites to land Mr. Brady.

Now according to his former offensive coordinator with the Patriots, Charlie Weis, any speculation is misleading. Weis just indicated that Brady told him “nobody knows anything” as it relates to his free agency, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

This is interesting in that Brady has been quiet since the Patriots’ season came to a conclusion in the AFC Wildcard Playoffs.

While he could very well return to New England in an attempt to earn a seventh Super Bowl title, Brady is keeping his options open. He will almost certainly hit free agency in just over a week rather than sign a long-term extension with the Patriots.

At that point, it’s anyone’s guess where Brady might land. But for now, it’s all speculation. The future Hall of Famer made that clear.
