Tom Brady, Gisele place Boston-area mansion on market for $39.5 million

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have reportedly placed their Brookline mansion on the market with an asking price of $39.5 million.

Jeff Darlington of NFL Network shared this news Tuesday, offering up the possibility that this decision is tied to the news that Brady will become a free agent after the 2019 season for the first time in his career.

Though Brady did sign a two-year extension with the New England Patriots, multiple reports have come out since that news broke indicating it will expire after the 2019 season, making him a free agent.

Brady is set to enter his age-42 season, and while it’s near impossible to envision him playing for any other franchise than New England, the same was said of Joe Montana before he signed with Kansas City.

Likely, this real-estate decision isn’t tied whatsoever to Brady’s football future. But we cannot rule out the possibility that it is, either.
