The Denver Broncos got training camp kicked off Thursday, and during the team’s first practice linebacker Todd Davis suffered a lower-body injury.

According to multiple reports, Davis was limping and ultimately had to be carted into the team’s locker room. Thankfully, he was diagnosed with a calf injury that reportedly “doesn’t look like it will be serious.”

Originally an undrafted rookie out of Sacramento State, Davis has been a starter the past three seasons for Denver. Since that time, he has started 45 games total and was the starter for all 16 games last season. During the 2018 campaign, he registered 114 tackles, a half-sack and one interception.
