New York Mets prospect Tim Tebow is struggling against Triple-A pitching in 2019. Apparently, those struggles aren’t limited to just opposing pitchers.
In Tuesday’s game against the Buffalo Bisons, Tebow struck out looking against Jordan Patterson. That would hardly be worth mentioning — except that Patterson is a right fielder.
If there’s any silver lining for Tebow, it’s that his team won Tuesday’s game 16-2. Unfortunately, he’s now struck out 53 times in 124 at-bats on the season. So, there’s a lot of work to do.
Patterson’s outing was for only one inning. He also allowed a run on two hits with two walks. Unfortunately for Tebow, he was Patterson’s only strikeout victim.
