Tiger Woods is ready to give it a go at the Masters this week.

“As of right now I feel like I’m going to play,” Woods said Tuesday, two days before the start of the tournament in Augusta, Ga.

Woods’ comments came two days after he tweeted that he would be a “game-time decision” for the event.

When asked if he felt like he could win the Masters this week, Woods was succinct.

“I do,” he said.

Woods, 46, hasn’t played a round on the PGA Tour since the pandemic-delayed 2020 Masters, which was played in November of that year. The 15-time major champion underwent multiple surgeries on his right leg following a single-car accident near Los Angeles on Feb. 23, 2021.

Woods has won five green jackets, including in 2019, which marked his first major title in 11 years.
