It’s rather easy to conclude that the San Francisco 49ers are not the hottest ticket in town. The team has put up a grand total of 12 points in its first two games this season.

And despite playing at a relatively new venue, empty seats were aplenty during San Francisco’s Week 1 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Levi’s Stadium.

Now set to host the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, tickets are going for as cheap as $14 for the game.

“As of Wednesday, resale tickets were being offered on StubHub for as low as $14 to see the team host the Los Angeles Rams at 7 p.m,” the San Francisco Chronicle reported Wednesday. “That price is just cheaper than buying a pair of $7.50 pretzels through the Levi’s Stadium app and comparable to the price of a beer and a hot dog at the the three-year-old arena.”

According to the report, the 49ers’ cheapest ticket on their website is going for $85.

Playing a mid-week game is likely one of the factors for such cheap tickets. Even then, fans in Northern California have not taken a liking to this team since it moved on from Jim Harbaugh following the 2014 season.

For good reason. The 49ers have lost 16 of their past 18 regular season games since the start of the 2016 campaign. Ouch.
