The Oklahoma City Thunder got their big man after all.

After failing to make a trade to bring size to the squad, the Thunder signed veteran forward/center Bismack Biyombo on Saturday.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Biyombo, 31, had been signed by the Memphis Grizzlies on Nov. 2 using an extra roster spot the team had been granted during Ja Morant’s 25-game suspension. The Grizzlies kept Biyombo even after Morant’s return but eventually let him go when the Grizzlies’ playoff hopes dwindled.

Biyombo averaged 5.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks while averaging 23.9 minutes per game in 30 games (27 starts) with the Grizzlies this season.

He has appeared in 829 games (351 starts) with five teams since he was drafted seventh overall in 2011.

He owns career averages of 5.1 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks with the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets (2011-15, 2018-21), Toronto Raptors (2015-16), Orlando Magic (2016-18), Phoenix Suns (2021-23) and Grizzlies (2023-24).
