Anyone following the transformation of former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn knows it has been a long process and an emotional one for the Kardashian/Jenner family.
During a recent interview, Khloe Kardashian expressed support for her stepdad and talked about the issues she dealt with when Caitlyn shared her decision to transition. Khloe said that adjusting to Caitlyn as a woman was difficult and that the family will still refer to her as ‘Bruce.’
“We don’t like to say that Bruce is gone, per se. My sisters and I, we will call Caitlyn ‘Bruce’ and we’ve been told that’s completely fine,” Khloé said. “Because on the phone, when she calls me, it’s the same voice as Bruce. And if I’m not physically with her, it’s hard to remember in the moment that I’m talking to Caitlyn, if that makes sense.”
The transformation of ‘Bruce’ to Caitlyn began to take place on the the reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Caitlyn was fully revealed when her reality show “I Am Cait” debuted in July.
Caitlyn’s show spends much focus on helping people of the transgender world try to fit in.
