Randy Moss was one of the best receivers in NFL history. His son, Thaddeus Moss, wasn’t quite blessed with the same combination of size and speed as his Hall of Fame father. Yet, that never prevented Moss from trying to follow in his dad’s footsteps with his football career anyway.

As a 6-foot-2, 249-pound tight end, Moss comes up just short when it comes to having ideal NFL size for his position. And it’s not like he has the speed to become a wide receiver either. However, wrapping up his college football career with the LSU Tigers, Moss was able to get on the NFL radar, just not as a draft pick.
Instead, Moss had to try and beat the odds, catching on as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Moss then signed with the Washington Commanders but was waived with an injury settlement before seeing any live NFL action.
A year later, Moss joined the Cincinnati Bengals, where he’d reunite with his college QB Joe Burrow, in addition to fellow former teammate Ja’Marr Chase. But again, Moss never got to play in an NFL game before being released during the 2022 season.
Moss then took his talent to the USFL, signing with the Birmingham Stallions, yet for whatever reason, he won’t be joining the team as they move on to the newly formed UFL. But that doesn’t mean Moss won’t be playing pro football in 2024, it just won’t be in the NFL, or the UFL.

Thaddeus Moss heads to CFL with Hamilton Tiger-Cats
According to Justin Dunk of 3 Down Nation, Thaddeus Moss has signed a contract with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
The 25-year-old tight end seemingly confirmed the report on his X social media account.
The Tiger-Cats are coming off an 8-10 season, finishing third in their respective division. We’ll see whether Moss can make an impact with his new team, but first, he’ll have to make the final roster. Either way, you can bet Randy Moss just became a big fan of the Hamilton Ticats
