Texas A&M starting RB Jashaun Corbin out for the season

The Texas A&M Aggies are going to be without their top ball carrier for the remainder of the season as the program looks to navigate through a tough SEC schedule.

Head football coach Jimbo Fisher announced on Monday that starting running back Jashaun Corbin is out for the rest of the 2019 campaign with a hamstring injury.

Corbin suffered the injury in the Aggies’ loss to Clemson on Saturday. He had put up just 34 yards on 13 attempts prior to going down.

With Corbin out, Texas A&M will rely on freshman Isaiah Spiller, among others. Spiller is averaging 9.3 yards on 14 attempts through two games.

Ranked 16th nationally, Texas A&M next takes on Lamar. It should be a cupcake game for the program.
