Texas A&M junior running back Devon Achane declared for the 2023 NFL Draft on Tuesday.

His announcement comes the same day that he was named first team All-SEC.

Achane rushed for a career-high 215 yards in his final game, Nov. 26 against LSU. The 38-23 Texas A&M victory knocked LSU out of the College Football Playoff.

The performance put Achane over 1,000 rushing yards for the season, leaving him with 1,102, despite missing the two previous games with a foot injury.

He rushed for 110.2 yards per game on the season, good for 16th nationally in FBS. His 3,532 career all-purposes yards rank 12th on A&M’s all-time list.

Achane made the announcement in a video posted to his Instagram page.
