Texas A&M All-America guard Kenyon Green announced Tuesday that he will bypass his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.

Green is projected as a first-round draft pick. He also has played tackle during his college career.

“After careful consideration, prayer, and discussions with my family, I have decided that it is time to pursue my dream and declare for the 2022 NFL Draft,” Green wrote in his announcement. “This has been one of the toughest decisions of my life, but I feel the time is right.”

Green also received various All-America honors in 2020.

Green is the fourth Texas A&M underclassman to declare for the draft and pass on playing in the Gator Bowl against Wake Forest on Dec. 31. The others are defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal, running back Isaiah Spiller and tight end Jalen Wydermyer.

No. 25 Texas A&M (8-4) beat Alabama in October but lost two of its final three regular-season games.
