Report: Terrelle Pryor garnering interest from Giants, Titans, 49ers, Eagles and Steelers

Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor is already creating quite the buzz as free agency inches closer on the clock.

This is specifically intriguing considering the 27 year-old has spent a very limited time of his seven-year NFL career as a receiver. Nonetheless, five teams are reportedly interested in Pryor’s services.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com, the New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers all have Pryor on their radar. The Steelers landing Pryor would take him back to his hometown roots.

Pryor played his first whole season as a wide receiver in 2016 after beginning his career as a quarterback. And he was not too shabby. The former Oakland Raiders’ quarterback recorded 77 receptions for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns for the Cleveland Browns. This also occurred under the typical carousel of quarterbacks the Browns utilized last year.

This was good enough for Pryor to be in for a substantial boost in pay wherever he lands. When it comes to the Browns, they will need to be ultra-competitive if they want to retain what is by far the best receiver on their roster.

As for Pryor, being wanted by five teams is a fabulous position to own approaching free agency. His journey will be a interesting one to follow in the upcoming days.
