Terrelle Pryor is the Browns’ most valuable weapon

In the week leading up to the game against the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns receiver Terrelle Pryor made it clear that he’d do whatever it took to win.

Per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Pryor said that he’d cut his finger off or even die on the field to help his team win.

Fortunately, it didn’t come to that, but the Browns were defeated 30-24 by the Dolphins on Sunday. Despite the loss, it’s hard to imagine Pryor could have done any more for his team.

He caught eight passes for 144 yards.

For a guy still fairly new to the position, that’s a great start.

But Pryor’s exploits didn’t stop there. He also ran four times for 21 yards and a score.

Pryor even dusted off his arm, going three-for-five in the air for 35 yards.

No player has had such a game in more than 50 years.

Pryor even lined up for one snap at safety for good measure.

Unfortunately, one thing that he could not do on Sunday was kick. Cody Parkey missed three field goals for Cleveland, including a potential game winner as time expired in regulation.

But even in defeat, Pryor proved to Hue Jackson and the Browns that he’s the most valuable weapon they have. It should be fun watching him work in the weeks to come.
