Butch Jones is not exactly beloved by Tennessee fans these days, who’ve been taking to extreme measures to express their displeasure. One grocery store used artistic license to make its point this week, and then Saturday as the Vols prepared to battle Alabama someone flew a banner over the stadium.

In all reality, Jones shouldn’t still have a job. We made that point crystal clear after his Vols lost at home last weekend to South Carolina, failing to score at the goal line three times at the end of the game while managing just nine total points. A loss that prompted one top recruit to reopen his recruitment to other teams after initially committing to Tennessee.
