There’s something to be said about subtle jabs. When you throw shade at someone else and they might not understand it’s being directed at them.
That’s most definitely not the case here.
Multiple NFL teams are trolling the league’s new video policy during the early slate of Week 6 action on Sunday.
And it’s glorious.
We actually have the highlight here, directly from the NFL’s own Twitter account.
That’s the issue. It was reported earlier this month that the NFL would start fining its own teams for excessive use of video highlights during games (more on that here).
In a somewhat low-key way, the teams themselves seem to have coordinated in a protest of sorts during Sunday’s action.
While we sit back and admire the absolutely ridiculousness of this rule, we have to give teams credit for being original in their trolling.
